Microsoft announced last week the expected release date of Exchange 2007 Service Pack 2, being quarter 3 of 2009.
Why is this important? There are several reasons...for one, you won't be able to transition your current Exchange 2007 organization to Exchange 2010 unlesss you have upgraded to Exchange 2007 SP2. But Service Pack 2 will also include some nice bells and whistles, you may love. like a better GUI to manage Diagnostics Logging, or the abiltity to do quota management versus your public folders and a long-awaited feature, the so-called SP2 in-box backup when running on Windows Server 2008 :-)
