Microsoft admits it tested SQL Server as store for Exchange 2010
and from the Exchange team itself:
ESE, SQL and your feedback!
Conclusion: Exchange will continue to use ESE at this time :-)
But interesting question, why would you want Exchange to use SQL instead of ESE?
