Hello Gents,

As you already know, I'm new to O365 and I have a question that came up on a customer call this week.  Can Cisco Unity be integrated with Exchange and Lync online and is this supported?  I have not seen anything from MS describing this scenario for online services. I do have the doc however for integrating Lync and Cisco for on premise deployment.

Thanks for any help here guys!

Hi Roberto,

Lync Online does not support Enterprise Voice! Exchange Online supports hosted Voicemail for On-Premise Voice Deployment.

Cisco Unity is a Voicemail solution for Cisco, Unity does not integrate in any way with Lync for Unified Messaging.

So what you actually can do is throw your Cisco Unity out of the doors and use Exchange Hosted Voicemail for your Cisco deployment :)

Grts,
Johan

Throw out the Cisco solution?  haha, nice!

Thanks for the response Johan, do you have or can you point me to documentation stating this?  I'm just looking for a solid answer for my customer.

Thanks again!!
